Pickett County Board of Education

Parents and Community Members...We are extremely proud of our schools including teachers, staff, and non-teaching staff. Most importantly, we are proud of our students, Pre-K thru 12th grade. We want to continue to keep academic improvement at the top of our priorities. We want every student to achieve mastery and beyond. We are concentrating on academic improvements as we teach the new standards that have been handed to us by the State of Tennessee. Besides student achievement, I personally wish to bring focus upon providing a quality education for all students, keeping open communication with community, adhering to data-driven decision making, and ensuring fiscal responsibility within the system. All these elements together will ensure our students have a school where they feel safe, welcome, respected, and able to learn.

Our central office is open from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm. I encourage you as parents and community members to come by and visit our office at any time. We are committed to making Pickett County Schools the best they can be.
