2016-17 Assessment Calendar for K8

Snow Days & Early Dismissal

Should conditions develop overnight which warrant the closing of school, announcements will be broadcast on radio stations WDEB - 103.9 fm, Lite Rock - 95.9 fm and Country Giant - 94.7 fm. TV channels 2, 4, and 5 will also carry closing information.

It is important to keep student information up to date in the event that school is closed early.

Pickett County K-8 is a small school that provides students with a more personal way to learn with a friendly staff and students. PK-8 is located in Byrdstown, Tennessee which is also home of the Dale Hollow Lake. Community involvement in Pickett County is outstanding and for more information on local events please visit Dale Hollow.

  • August 19 - Dance! $3.00. There will be concessions and a photo booth. Drop off and pick up at the gym entrance. Pickett County K-8 students only!
